Twyla Rochelle Villar

Twyla Rochelle Villar, a beloved mother, grandmother and friend passed away on September 13, 2023. She was born on September 25, 1935, in Louisiana, MO. Twyla's vibrant personality and fun loving nature touched the lives of many.  The loss of Twyla leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew her.

Twyla worked as an Executive Assistant at Sears for fifteen years. Following her career at Sears, she worked as an Adjuster for American Family Insurance providing seven years of service. Her dedication and work ethic earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and superiors alike.

Twyla graduated from William Chrisman High School. She placed great importance on giving back to the community and supporting veterans. She was a proud member of the American Legion Auxiliary since 1998, honoring those who bravely served their country.  She enjoyed reading and dancing. She had a deep appreciation for classic country music and old movies.

Twyla is survived by her loving children: Vicki (Earnie) Pavlovsky, Stan (Angie) Bromley, and Linda (Mark) Wheeler. Also surviving Twyla, are 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Twyla is predeceased by her parents, as well as her husband, John; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

In this time of reflection and remembrance, a visitation will be held on September 19, 2023, from 1:00 to 2:00pm at the Speaks Suburban Chapel located at 18020 East 39th St in Independence, MO. Following the visitation, a memorial service will take place at 2:00pm at the same location. These gatherings will provide an opportunity for friends and loved ones to come together, share stories, and find solace in the collective support of those who knew and cared for Twyla.

As we bid our final farewell to Twyla, let us celebrate the vibrant life she lived and keep her memory alive by embodying the passion for life she shared with all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

May Twyla Rochelle Villar rest in eternal peace knowing that she touched countless lives with warmth, love, and grace.
