Ruth Tye, 89, of Independence, MO passed away Friday, September 19, 2003 at her residence. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Tuesday, September 23 at the Speaks Midtown Chapel. A graveside service has been set for 2:00 pm on Tuesday at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. She is survived by one daughter, Alta McGovern; one brother, Ralph Brown; and one sister, Lois Saxton
