Independence, Missouri

Tyler Martin Davis of Independence, Missouri passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 31, 2023. He was 26 years old. Tyler was born to Robin (Meek) Thompson in Virginia Beach, Virginia on August 26, 1996.

Tyler grew up in the small town of Buckner, Missouri and graduated from Fort Osage High School. He created so many memories as a child riding his bike around town and made lifelong friends. As a teenager Tyler met a girl named Paris thru mutual friends. Little did he know, she was his soulmate and they would soon form an unbreakable bond. They were blessed to spend the past 8 years as a couple creating a beautiful life together. They enjoyed taking long drives and walks, camping and traveling. Colorado was one of Tyler’s favorite destinations. He was a talented woodworker, an avid hunter and enjoyed his career as a truck driver. Tyler was kind, sassy, loyal, outgoing and never met a stranger. He was a Pokeman and Yu-Gi-O guru and would often rope Paris into his collecting adventures. He stood up for what he believed in and would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need. Tyler’s presence will be missed beyond measure by so many loved ones, friends and family.
