Clifford Venus Vader, 81, Hermitage, MO formerly of Independence, MO passed away Friday, July 11, 2014.
Clifford was born December 9, 1932 in Independence, MO the son of Venus Clifford and Elsie Emma (Peterson) Vader. He was a carpenter by trade for over 30 years He enjoyed watching western movies, fishing, hunting and loved being with his family.
Survivors include his children, Karen Stone and husband Richard, Larry Vader and wife Susie, Robert Vader and wife Dawn and Diana Burgess; 11 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a host of additional family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Wilson; son-in-law, Brian Burgess; and his parents.
A memorial visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Blue Springs Cemetery.
