Nellie Van Biber

Nellie Evelyn Van Biber, 91, of Independence, MO passed away Thursday, October 2, 2003 at The Rosewood Health Center. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 12 at 2:00 p.m. at the South Crysler Restoration Branch, 16101 Salisbury Rd., Independence, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to any Hospice or a charity of your choice. Nellie was born on April 1, 1912 in Omaha, NE to Harvey and Anna Menefee. She was the Women�s Leader at the Central Congregation for years, as well as the past president of the George B. Longdon PTA. She retired as a secretary from the U.S. Government. Nellie was also a devoted member of the South Crysler Restoration Branch. Mrs. Van Biber was preceded in death by an infant son, Charles Van Biber; and her husband of 53 years, Clare Van Biber. She is survived by two sons, Tom Van Biber and Terry with wife Judy Van Biber; five grandchildren, Brian Van Biber, Jay with wife Kori Van Biber, Todd Van Biber, Cynthia with husband Dale Baum and Michelle with husband Wallace Ralston; and three great grandchildren, Jackson Thomas Van Biber, Nicholas Dale Baum and Sarah Evelyn Ralston.
