Mary P. Van Dyke, 88, of Buckner, MO passed away February 10, 2010. Pat was born on August 6, 1921 in Wray, Colorado. On March 25, 1941 she married Robert P. Van Dyke, who preceded her in death on November 11, 2001. She was employed by the Lake City Ammunitions Plant, where she worked for 22 years, retiring in November of 1985. She is survived by four sons, Bruce (Maureen) of McMurray, PA, Paul (Diana) of Buckner, MO, Dale (Laura) of Independence, MO, Glen of Independence, MO; two daughters, Lynette and Rebecca, both of Buckner, MO; two sisters, Delores Dunbar of Tehachapi, CA and Charlotte Pennington of Salt Lake City, UT; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and numerous nephews and nieces. A visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 14, at the Speaks Buckner Chapel, 300 Adams, Buckner, MO. A graveside service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at Oakland Cemetery, Buckner, MO.
