Patricia W. Vander Linden, 51, of Lee’s Summit, MO, passed away, Sunday, October 26, 2008 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Woods Chapel Bible Fellowship. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 31, 2008 in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, MO. Donations may be made to the Kansas City Hospice or to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund. Patricia was born December 2, 1956 in Denver, CO to Charles and Louise (Murray) Willis. She graduated from Shawnee Mission South High School, Overland Park, KS in 1975, from William Jewell College in 1979 and later received her master’s in Computer Resources and Information Management from Webster University in 2007. She had worked as a project manager for Hallmark Cards in Kansas City for over 27 years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, travel, reading, and trips to the Lake of the Ozarks. She was a member of Woods Chapel Bible Fellowship, P.E.O. chapter IC, and Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. She was married to Eric Vander Linden on December 27, 1986, he survives of the home. Other survivors include her father, Charles Willis of Denver, CO; 2 brothers, Murray Willis of Lakewood, CO and Kent Willis of Frisco, CO; a sister, Susan Foster of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
