Carolyn L. VanNoy, 77, Independence, MO, passed away April 7, 2012. Memorial services will be at 3 pm, Sunday, April 15 at The Cornerstone Community of Christ, 1316 S. Osage St., Independence, MO; cremation. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Alzheimer’s Assoc, 3846 W. 75th St., Prairie Village, KS 66208 or NorthCare Hospice, 2900 Clay Edwards Drive, #2, N. K.C., MO 64116.
Carolyn was born July 28, 2012 in Independence, MO and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from William Chrisman High School in the Class of 1952. She worked for the Community of Christ Church for 35 years and retired in 2000. She was a member of the Cornerstone Congregation.
Carolyn is survived by daughter Janet Fitzpatrick; sons Dennis Fitzpatrick; Keith Fitzpatrick; Neal Fitzpatrick; Keith Fitzpatrick; brothers Eldon Shakespeare; Wayne Shakespeare; Charles Shakespeare; grandchildren Jessica Safly; Jacob Fitzpatrick; Shelbie Fogelsong and five great-grandchildren.
