Betty Ventimiglia

Betty June Ventimiglia, 86, Independence, MO passed away Aug. 22, 2008. Services will be 10 am, Monday, Aug. 25, 2008 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be begin at 6 pm, Sunday and the Rosary will be said at 7:30 pm at the funeral home.
Betty was born June 21, 1922 in Kansas City, MO. She was a member of Nativity of Mary Catholic Church. Her family was most important to her. She had many friends and although she was blind for many years of her life, she was an inspiration to many others through her intrepid spirit.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Charles Ventimiglia in 2005 and grandson Stephen Todd Ventimiglia in 2007. She is survived by sons Charles Ventimiglia and wife Yvonne, Lee’s Summit, MO; Stephen Ventimiglia and wife Angela, Blue Springs, MO; sisters-in-law Marge Ventimiglia and Doris Ventimiglia, both of Kansas City, MO; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
