Stephen Todd Ventimiglia, 42, of the Westport area of Kansas City, passed away Friday, March 16, 2007 at The University of Kansas Hospital. Visitation will be Monday, March 19, 2007 from 5:30-7:30 p.m., with a brief service at 7:30 p.m., at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO. An inurnment service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 20, at Mount Olivet Cemetery in the Carrying of the Cross section. Steve was born September 19, 1964 in Kansas City, MO. He grew up in Blue Springs, MO and shortly after graduating from Blue Springs High School in 1982, moved to Downtown Kansas City. He had an immense love and passion for the Kansas City area and its community. He was close and incredibly loyal to his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Steve is survived by his mother, Susan Barker; father and step-mother, Stephen and Angela Ventimiglia; grandmother, Betty Ventimiglia; brother and sister-in-law, Christopher Shawn and Kimberly Ventimiglia; sister and brother-in-law, Kindra and David Atkinson; brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Cathie Starrett; brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Kristy Starrett; two nephews, Alexander Ventimiglia and Grant Starrett; three nieces, Samantha Ventimiglia, Savannah Starrett and Katelyn Tryon; and aunts and uncles: Andrea and Steve Calloway, Linda and Mark Gritton, Charles and Yvonne Ventimiglia and Karen Ventimiglia.
