Verna Lucille Magers

Verna Lucille Magers, 61 of Independence, MO passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023 at her residence.  Cremation is planned with a memorial gathering to be held from 5 to 7:00 p.m., Saturday evening at the Speaks Suburban Chapel.  Verna was born April 17, 1962 in Harrison, AR to Dan Allen and Joyce (Fredricks) Magers.  She had worked as a cosmetologist and hairstylist for a number of years.  She enjoyed fishing, shopping, going to the casinos and most of all, spending time with family.  She had proudly served in the US Army.  She is survived by; a daughter, Natasha Magers of Sugar Creek, MO; a son, Gary Magers of Liberty, MO; her siblings, Pamela Crowley, Heather Ann Magers, David Magers and Darrell Tramell and 4 grandchildren.
