Nadine P. Vivian, 96, of Oak Grove, MO, formerly of Independence, MO was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Beverly Hills Baptist Church, 1229 W. 31st St., Independence, MO 64055. Graveside services 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011 in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Boonville, MO. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2011 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or Cancer Action, 4010 S. Lynn Ct., Independence, MO 64055. Nadine was born March 5, 1915 in Bunceton, MO to Rosswell and Rosa (Racy) Landon. She was an active and faithful member of the church since 1960. Mrs. Vivian is survived by her children Ron Vivian and wife Dolores, Linda Dean and husband Roger; grandchildren Ronda Vivian, Dorena Ahrens, Jessica Welling, John Shoaf, three step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren Christopher Ahrens, Madeline and Emily Welling, Tara Shoaf, eight step-great-grandchildren; great-great-grandson Hayden Shoaf, one step-great-great-grandchild; sister Vivian Weston; brother Vernon Landon. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Vivian in ’90; son David Wayne Vivian in ’97; two brothers and two sisters.
