Virginia Wade

Virginia Wade, 74, of Independence, MO passed away January 13, 2009 at the Kansas City Hospice House. A prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m. followed by a visitation until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 19, 2009 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 20, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Independence, MO. Burial at Mound Grove Cemetery. Virginia was born October 6, 1934 in Kansas City, MO to John and Anna (Hilbert) Battor. She is survived by her husband, Bob Wade; two sons, Robert Michael Wade, William John Wade and wife Pamela; two grandchildren, Kayla and Kelsie Wade; one sister, Margaret Black and husband Harlin; one brother, Richard Battor and his wife Norma Lee; as well as many nieces and nephews.
