Constance D. Wagner, 80, Independence, MO passed away Monday, May 13, 2013.
Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Independence, MO 64052. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Constance was born June 16, 1932 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Claude “Ed” and Branche (Miller) Griffin. She was co-owner and operator of Wagner Enterprises in Independence for 30 years. Constance was a Cub Scout Leader and a Girl Scouts Leader. She enjoyed walking and was a member of the Volksmarcher and was an avid teddy bear collector.
Survivors include her daughter, Claudia “Chloe” Wagner; son, Brett Wagner; brother, Gary Griffin; and her loving bestest friend, Maude the cat. She was preceded in death by her son, Billy Wagner; life long friend, Anna Lee Martin; and her parents.
