Dallas Claude Wagner, Sr., 84, Buckner, MO passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Speaks Buckner Chapel; 300 Adams St. Buckner, MO 64016. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Buckner Hill Cemetery with Military Honors.
Dallas was born December 15, 1928 in Denver, CO the son of Claude and Della Ruth (Hartgrave) Wagner. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving in WWII. Dallas retired from ABF Trucking in 1991 after 42 years, but continued to drive trucks till just recently. He was a member of the VFW Post# 8101 and a member of the First Baptist Church in Buckner. Dallas enjoyed life and knew how to work on, build or fix just about everything. He always offered a helping hand to anyone whether he knew them or not.
Survivors include his loving wife, Annabelle Wagner of 52 years; daughter, Marcia Lynn Francis and husband Jack; sons, David Bruce Patrick and wife Gerrie M., Carl Ray Wagner and wife Kitty; 16 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; and sister, Evelyn Cotton. He was preceded in death by his sons, Dallas Wagner, Jr., Jimmy Wagner; brother, Doug Wagner; sister, Eleanor Anderson; and his parents.
