Teddy Wait

Teddy J. Wait, 68, Buckner, MO passed away Dec. 10, 2009. A memorial service will be at 11:00 am. Sat., Dec. 12, 2009 at All Saints Lutheran Church, 421 SW 19th Terr., Blue Springs, MO 64015; cremation. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Organ Transplant Dept., Nebraska Medical Center, Office of Development, 987421 Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, NE 68198-7421.
Ted was born March 31, 1941 in Arkansas City, KS. He worked at the Ford Claycomo plant for nearly thirty-five years, retiring in 1995. He was a member of UAW and the Retriever Club. Ted loved to hunt, fish and was an accomplished dog trainer. He and his dogs won several top prizes at Retriever Field Trials.
Ted is survived by his wife of twenty-four years Betty Wait, of the home; daughters Kerrie O’Malley and husband Dan; Sally Grimes, all of North Kansas City, MO; step-sons Rick Johnston and wife Vickie, Wichita, KS; Marty Johnston, Olathe, KS; Troy Johnston and wife Connie, Baton Rouge, LA; step-daughter Michelle Johnston and companion Robert Alexander, Blue Springs, MO; brother Jerry Wait and wife Karen, Irvington, AL; grandchildren and his beloved dog, Digger.
