Harriett Lee  "Mudd" Waldroup (Wade)

Harriett Waldroup, 74, of Indep., MO passed away May 14, 2015. Visitation will take place beginning at 10am, Mon., May 18, 2015, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am at the church. Burial will take place in Lobb Cemetery. Harriett was born on February 11, 1941 in Washington, IN to Charles and Mary (Goodrid) Wade. Harriett moved to the Independence are in 1966. She retired from Sprint as a Relay Operator; she also owned and operated her own insurance agency in the area. Harriett enjoyed quilting, bowling, and the Royals. She bowled on many leagues in the area where she earned the nickname “Mudd”. Survivors include; son Chris Waldroup and wife Vicky; daughter Cheryl Hankins; son Craig Waldroup; brother Charles Wade; sisters Donna Flynn and Susan Cox; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons.
