Nita Lou Wall, 50, of Gardner, KS, passed away peacefully at her home on January 26, 2008, following a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family. Nita was born in Kansas City, MO and graduated from Muleshoe High School in Texas. She worked as a buyer for S.P. Richards, Co. for 21 years and as office manager for Collis Equipment Company for 10 years. Nita was a huge Chiefs and NASCAR fan. Her personality was larger than life and she was loved by all who knew her. She is survived by Debbie Farnsworth of the home; mother and stepfather, Louise and Lynn Lackey; a sister, Debbie Cort; and 2 brothers, Bill Wall and David Collis; along with 31 nieces and nephews. A visitation will take place from 1-2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO, followed by a service at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel. Burial at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
