Carrie Wallace

Carrie Lee Wallace, 64, of Independence, MO, passed away, Sunday, February 28, 2010 at her residence. Cremation with private family services are planned. Donations may be made in her name to Wayside Waifs. Carrie was born March 14, 1945 in Independence, MO to Harold Milton and Shirley Jean (Colbert) Stump. She grew up in the area and graduated from Southwest High School. She had worked as a customer service rep for Time Warner Cable for over 16 years. She enjoyed needlepoint, her dog, Pepsi, going on cruises with her husband and reading romance novels. She is survived by; her husband, Gary Edmund Wallace, Sr. of the home; 2 sons, Gary Edmund Wallace, Jr. and his wife Mary and Thomas G. Wallace and his wife Nancy all of Independence, MO; a brother, Michael Stump and his wife Marsha of Independence, MO and 6 grandchildren, Ashley, Joshua, Dominic, Shelby, Christopher and Zachary.
