Wallace Dale Moore, a devoted family man, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, in Blue Springs, Missouri. Wallace was born on December 18, 1931, in Grove Springs, Missouri to Walter and Audrey (McMillan) Moore. He grew up on a dairy farm alongside his seven siblings, an upbringing that instilled in him a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for family.
Wallace dedicated most of his professional career to welding and worked for many years at Kentworth manufacturing. His commitment to his work was matched by his dedication to his family. A jovial and happy individual, Wallace loved his family fiercely, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and warmth.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Wallace proudly served in the United States Army. After his service, he embraced the joys of home and family. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and camping at Truman Lake, experiences that shared his passion for the great outdoors. His love for adventure often led him to ride his motorcycle, embracing the freedom it provided.
Wallace is survived by his daughters, Cathy Logan (Gene), Linda Giesenhagen (Mathew), and Donna Millstead (Mike); 5 siblings, 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and beloved wife, Kathryn.
A graveside service to honor Wallace Dale Moore will take place on November 7, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri. As we remember Wallace, we celebrate the playful spirit and loving nature that touched the lives of many.
