Phyllis Wallace

Phyllis Annabel Wallace, 89, of Independence, MO, passed away, Friday, January 18, 2008 at the Carmel Hills Living Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at the Speaks Buckner Chapel. Burial will be in Buckner Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 9:00 a.m., until service time Wednesday at the chapel. Phyllis was born October 14, 1918 in Grain Valley, MO to Phillip and Datha (Brammer) Houston. She spent her early life in Grain Valley and graduated public schools there. She was a wife mother and homemaker who enjoyed gardening and sewing. She had attended the First Baptist Church in Buckner. She was married to Ernest Wallace, he passed away in 1990. Survivors include; 2 daughters, Gloria Walters of Peculiar, MO and Sylvia Wallace of Independence, MO and a sister, Viola Thomas of Buckner, MO.
