Rebecca Wallander

Becky Wallander, 50, of Independence, MO passed away Thursday, February 19, 2009 at her home. A visitation will be from 6-8:00 PM Sunday, Feb. 22 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Monday at the chapel with burial to follow at Buckner Hill Cemetery. Becky was born Feb, 18, 1959 in Independence to William and Myrtle (Jenkins) Donovan. She has been a lifelong resident of Independence and worked as a court clerk for the 16th Circuit Court of Jackson County. She attended Blue Springs Assembly. Becky’s family was her life; she enjoyed spending time with her family more than anything and was the best wife, mother, and mema anyone could ask for. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her for her courageous and caring nature.
Becky is survived by her husband Ronnie Wallander; children and their spouses: Ronnie and Jennie Wallander, Katie Brison, and Shelly and Aaron Endicott; grandchildren: Chandler and Chelsey Wallander and Tyler Brison; siblings: William Donovan, Judy Hollaman, and Emma McGinnis. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Myrtle Donovan and brother Stephen Donovan.
