Louise Waller, 90, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away Monday, November 16, 2015. A visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00am Saturday, November 21st at Carson Speaks Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 10:00am at the chapel. Burial will be at Mt. Washington Cemetery, Independence.
Louise was born December 22, 1924 in Kansas City, MO as the youngest of seven children to John Ray and Idella M. (Roberts) Buckley. She married Delbert Lee Waller, who lovingly called her “Weezy,” on June 5, 1976. She worked for Sears Roebuck Co. as a mail clerk for over 40 years. She enjoyed family holiday gatherings, fishing, eating chocolate, and doting on her dogs. Louise is remembered as being meticulous, gracious, and loveable.
Survivors include stepsons, Steven Lee Waller (Teresa) of Grandview, MO; David Lynn Waller of Pleasant Hill, MO; Timothy Lane Waller of Pleasant Hill, MO; and Michael Lance Waller (Laura) of Leavenworth, KS;seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren one great great grandchild; niece, Betty Owen of Independence, MO; niece, Anne Parks of Lee’s Summit, MO; nephew Ron Buckley of Lee’s Summit, MO; great niece, Linda Chamberlain and husband Tom and numerous other family and friends who will miss her. She was preceded in death by her parents; six siblings; and her beloved husband, Delbert. The family encourages contributions to the KC Pet Project in her memory.
