Regina Walton

Regina Walton, 80, of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at Monterey Park Nursing Center. A visitation will be from 7-9:00 PM Friday, May 1 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence. Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday at the chapel with burial at Mound Grove Cemetery.
Regina was born Sept. 19, 1928 in St. Louis, MO to Floyd and Lillian (Weislogel) Dunlap. She was an avid crafter, enjoying quilting, crocheting, and sewing. She also enjoyed fishing, gardening, and baking. Regina was very loving with a big heart and will be missed for her perfectionist nature by all who knew and loved her.
Regina was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Floyd and Lillian Dunlap and is survived by her daughter Sheran Rouse and husband James Sr.; son Stephen Walton and wife Shannon; five grandchildren: James Jr. and wife Ami, Toni, Amy, Amber, and Mercedez; two great-grandchildren, Kylee and William; and very special friend Sherry Beck, her husband Randy, and children Ryan and Andrea.
