Brent Allen Weddle, 42 of Independence passed away Sun. Feb. 24, 2008 at Truman Medical Center Lakewood. A visitation will be held from 4 �" 6:00 p.m., Fri, Feb. 29, 2008 at the Pavilion, 14831 E. 40 Hwy., Kansas City, MO with the Memorial Service to follow at 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Brent Weddle Memorial Fund, c/o Bank of Grain Valley, 14801 E. 40 Hwy, KCMO 64136. Mr. Weddle was born on Mar. 31, 1965 to Dave and Shirley (Doores) Weddle in Independence. Brent was the owner of Captured Memories Scrapbook Store and the Rainbow Fly Shop in Independence. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother who loved fly-fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandsons. His family and his work was his life. He was a member of the Fishheads Club and the Rusty Hookers Club. He was preceded in death by his grandma & grandpa Weddle and grandma & grandpa Doores. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Weddle of Independence; a daughter Katie Gropper and husband Shawn of Blue Springs, MO; parents Shirley and Dave Weddle of Tightwad, MO. Two brothers, Brian Weddle and wife Lori of Oak Grove, MO and Brad Weddle and wife Renee of Blue Springs, MO. Three grandsons, Vann, Benyt and Kai and by three nephews and one niece, Jacob, Aaron, Brittany and Nathan.
