Daren Wells

Daren L. Wells, 74, of Independence, MO passed away on December 23, 2007. Daren was born November 14, 1933 in Everett, MO to Frank and Gladys Wells. He married Rita Mae Getty on August 22, 1953 in Harrisonville, MO. Daren retired after 30 years of service from TWA, where he had worked as an Airline Mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Truman Wells. Daren is survived by his wife, Rita, of the home; one daughter, Debbie Schick and husband Erron, of Mexico, MO; two grandchildren, Adam Schick and Amanda Schick of Columbia, MO; two sisters, Alelia Stewart and Ruby Lewis of Blue Springs, MO; sister-in-law, Annette Wells of Independence, MO; many nieces and nephews; and good friends and neighbors, Bob and Judy Cross and Bob and Elaine Schroeder. Contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice. Visitation from 1-2:00 p.m. on Friday, followed by a 2:00 p.m. service held at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO. Burial at Mt. Washington Cemetery.
