Donald Ray Wendleton, 76, Independence, MO passed away Thursday, September 17, 2009 at Centerpoint Medical Center.
Graveside services will be 1:30 PM Monday, September 21, 2009 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, MO. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association.
Donald was born December 21, 1932 in Bates County, MO the son of Melvin S. and Ruby (Crockett) Wendleton. He retired from TWA as a mechanic in 1992.
Survivors include his wife Alice (Boyd) Wendleton of the home; sons, Alan Dale Wendleton and his wife Sun, and Gary Neal Wendleton and his wife Janice; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren; sisters, Marjorie Umstattd and Esther Pike.
