Carol Ruth White, 73, Gardner, KS passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO 64055, funeral services will be at 2:00p.m. Burial to follow at Six Mile Cemetery.
Carol was born January 6, 1938 in Independence, KS the daughter of Aaron and Bessie (Rolen) Duane. She was employed with General Telephone Company, (SBC & AT&T) as a switchboard operator retiring in 1999. She attended the First Baptist Church of Gardner. Carol enjoyed traveling, especially to Branson and listening to country music.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Holly Sterling; brother James Duane; sister Mary Bell and her parents.
Survivors include her loving husband, Bobby White; son in law, Darrell Sterling; brother, David Duane and wife Marie and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Gardner, KS.
