Ernest White

Ernest White, 74, of Independence, MO passed away August 22, 2011 at his home. Ernest was born August 24, 1936 in Peoria, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Maurine White; and one brother, Jerome White. On May 27, 1961, he married Rita M. (Leymeister) White. Ernest worked at Packaging Corp. of America for 25 years, and McKeevers Price Chopper in Independence for 12 years. He is survived by his loving wife Rita, of the home; one son, Allen White; two daughters, Carrie Taylor of Kansas City, MO, Kristina Pence of Napoleon, MO; seven grandchildren, Angela Taylor, Hunter, Olivia, Macy and Cassidy Pence, Robbie and Billie Mathews; two sister-in-law’s, Fern McCaston of Eden, NC and Blanch Paisley of Middleport, PA; many nieces and nephews; and special friends of the family, Joseph Arregiun of Lee’s Summit, MO and John Mathews of Kansas City, MO. There are no services planned at this time.
