William S. Wilkinson, 70, of Independence, MO passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Centerpoint Medical Center. A visitation for Bill will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 26, 2012 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., March 27, in the chapel with burial at Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence, MO.
Bill was born October 4, 1941 to parents William Wilkinson and Helen Warner. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Wilkinson, and sister Barbara Morrissey. Bill is survived by his daughters; Glenda LaMastres-Thompson (Rob), Tonja Jelinek (Gary), Nycki Mareda (Ron), and Anita King (Reese); son Billy Wilkinson Jr.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister Janet Harrison.
