Roger Willett

Roger G. Willett, 52, of Independence, MO passed away Thursday, February 14, 2008 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 18, 2008 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Sunday, February 17, 2008 in the chapel with a Mic-O-Say service to be held at 7:30. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 603 N. Jennings Rd, Independence, MO 64056 or to the Boy Scouts of America. Roger was born February 23, 1955 in Chicago, IL to Vernon A. and Rosemary (Ingram) Willett. He was a spiritual man who loved the Lord. His life revolved around his family. Mr. Willett was an honorary Warrior in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say with troup #221. Roger is survived by his wife of 31 years, Teri (Cunningham) Willett, children Sarah Otto and husband Jeffery, Jesse Willett and fiance’ Lauren Shrauner, Tony Willett; grandchildren Dalton and Allyson Otto; mother Rosemary Willett. He was preceded in death by his father Vernon Willett.
