Wilma Carol Keepper, affectionately known as "Wink," passed away on August 13, 2023, in Blue Springs, Missouri. She was born on November 29, 1946, in Henley, Missouri. Wink was a remarkable individual who touched the lives of many through her loving and kind nature. Her radiant personality was both bubbly and funny, leaving those around her with a warmth that will be deeply missed.

Wink dedicated a significant portion of her life to two professions that she wholeheartedly embraced. For twenty years, she worked as a cosmetologist, utilizing her passion for makeup and hair to bring out the beauty in others. Following this chapter of her life, she spent thirty years as an optician at Discovery Vision before retiring. Her commitment to providing excellent service and care to others left an indelible mark on those she served.

Beyond her professional achievements, Wink had a vibrant zest for life and enjoyed a variety of hobbies and interests. One of her greatest joys came from getting her hands in the dirt and planting flowers, creating beauty that bloomed alongside her ever-smiling spirit. She also had an undying love for all things glitz and glamourous - a testament to her affinity for makeup and hairstyling. In the evenings, she would watch her soap operas she recorded during the day, immersing herself in the captivating dramas unfolding on screen. Wink found solace in reading Reader's Digest and indulging in paranormal romances - worlds where imagination ran wild.

In addition to these pursuits, Wink shared cherished memories of going boating with her beloved husband David before his passing. She found peace and tranquility on the water while fishing for crappie, creating lasting memories that will forever be treasured.

Wink's journey through life was enriched by the love of her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter Denise Keepper who brought immense joy and pride into her world. Wink shared a deep bond with her sister Norma Franklin, who walked alongside her through life's triumphs and challenges. Among those who held a special place in her heart were her niece Tammy Straw and husband John, her great-nephews Jack Winn, her nephew James Sullivan IV, great nephew James Sullivan V. Wink's niece Tina Spear and husband Jeff, along with their children Skyler and Sophia Spear, all were precious to her.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband David Keepper, whose memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew them both. Wink also joins her parents Arlin and Pauline Robinett, as well as her sisters Erma Wallace and Janice Gulley, and her niece Misty Gulley in eternal peace.
