Gladys Marie Wilson (Thomas)

Gladys Marie Wilson, 93, of Belton, Mo passed away Saturday, August 29th, 2015. She was born December 2, 1921 in Sumner, MO as one of three children to Aubra and Hattie (Sanders) Thomas. After high school she married Harry B. Wilson on February 15, 1946 and together they raised two children. She worked as a telephone operator at Southwestern bell and was a devoted wife and mother. She was actively involved in the Eastern Star and also enjoyed machine quilting. Her family remembers her as kind and loving.
Survivors include son, William Herbert Wilson of Belton, MO; granddaughter, Rachel Wilch and husband Brian of Tulsa, OK; and great grandson, Levi. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband; son, Archie Harry Wilson; sister, Fern Prudy; and brother, William L. Thomas.
