Ruth Maxine Wilson, 86 of Independence, passed away Nov. 11, 2004 at Carmel Hills Living Center. Services will be 2:00 pm, Sat. Nov. 13, 2004 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be held from 1 - 2:00 pm, Sat at the chapel. Burial in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the ______________________________. Mrs. Wilson was born on Apr. 12, 1918 to John and Wilda Noland, in Post Oak, MO and had lived in Independence most of her life, having lived on Appleton Street for 61 years. She had been an Auditor for the Internal Revenue Service, retiring in 1983. Ruth was a fantastic Cook and loved to make wedding cakes for her family and friends. She was one of the three remaining members of the old Maywood Baptist Women�s Birthday Club. She had been an active member of Beaumont Baptist Church for many years. Ruth was a wonderful mother and loving and dedicated grandmother. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Ralph H. Wilson in 1999. She is survived by two sons, Boyd L. Wilson of Independence, and Robert G. Wilson and wife, Patsy, of Independence. Two sisters, Helen Grimes of Sedalia, MO and Edith Greer of Independence. Six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
