Philip Winans

Philip Ray Winans, 64, of Independence, MO passed away July 15, 2014 at Truman Medical Center Lakewood. He was born June 13, 1950 in Boone, Iowa, the fifth child of Arthur Paul, Sr. and Alice (Allen) Winans. In 1968, Phil graduated from Creston High School in Creston, Iowa. He is survived by daughter, Jill Cook and husband Jerry, and their daughter, Artie Cook; daughter, Sally Morris; daughter, Sarah Cox; and four siblings, Arthur Paul Winans, Jr., Leta VanCannon, Melba McDowell and Dawn Dringenberg.
