Jean Winburn

Jean Winburn, 81, of Independence, MO passed away December 19, 2009 at Centerpoint Medical Center. A visitation will take place from 1-2:00 p.m. with a 2:00 p.m. service to follow on Saturday, December 26, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO 64052. Burial at Buckner Hill Cemetery. Jean was born May 7, 1928 in Wellington, MO to Denver C. and Ruth E. (Jelley) Fitzgerald. She retired from Pace School Bus Company after 42 years of service. Jean is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Raymond Winburn, of the home; children, Barbara Jean McKinney, David Winburn and wife Susan, Patricia Stein and husband Richard, Michael Winburn; two grandsons, Jacob Stein and Nathan McKinney; two cousins, Joseph Campbell and Nettie Campbell; as well as many friends. Jean will be dearly missed.
