Bonnie D. Winchell, 85, formerly of Independence, MO, passed away November 29, 2011 in Nevada, MO. Bonnie was born January 28, 1926 in Independence MO to Fred and Addie (Cinnamon) Winchell as a triplet. Bonnie and her sisters were one of the 1st set of triplets born in Independence. Bonnie’s sisters Betty and Ethel unfortunately only lived two days. Bonnie graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1944. She attended college in Warrensburg, MO for two years. Bonnie was a member of the Community of Christ church. She worked at the Boeing aircraft plant in Wichita, KS for several years. Bonnie then worked in Independence until she became ill and could no longer work. Bonnie has resided at a nursing home in Nevada since her illness in the 70’s. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters Margaret A. Young, Mildred E. Sanders; and Brother Merle Winchell. Bonnie is survived by many nieces and nephews. Bonnie will be buried at Mound Grove Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO.
