Steven Ray Windle, 42, of Independence, MO, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 pm Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Funeral Services will be 10:00 am, Monday, March 23, 2015 at the Chapel. Burial will take place in Mound Grove Cemetery. Steve was born April 6, 1972 in Smithville, MO. He was a kind, loving man to his family and friends. He was a devoted employee of MODOT. Survivors include; wife Lisa Windle; son Collin Windle; daughter Sophie Windle; parents Sally and Wiley Owens, and Melvin and Terry Windle, brothers Scott and Sean; and a sister Stacy.
