Charles Winstead

Charles H. Winstead, 64, formerly of Independence, MO, passed away on October 22, 2009 at his home in Grain Valley, MO. Charles was born January 1, 1945 in Independence, MO. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam era. In 1994, Charles retired from Century 21, where he had been a real estate agent for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hurschel and Vera (Gabriel) Winstead; and sister, Linda Holbrook. Charles is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn Kay Winstead; three children, Kimberly Winstead, Larry Winstead, Steve Holbrook; and two grandchildren, Morgan and Tori McCarty. He will be dearly missed. A memorial celebration of life will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 26, at Blue Springs First Church of the Nazarene.
