Marion Winters

September 12, 1925 — February 2, 2009

Marion L. Winters, of Independence, MO passed away Mon. Feb. 2, 2009 at Centerpoint Medical Center. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4 �" 6 pm Fri., Feb 6, 2009 at her home, 3813 Adams, Independence, MO. As per Marion’s request her body was donated to KU Medical Center. Marion was born on Sep 12, 1925 to Frank And May (Ellis) Arney) in Kansas City, MO. She had been a clerk with Southwestern Bell/AT&T for over 40 years retiring in 1985. Most recently she had been a Demonstrator at Price Chopper on Noland Rd. Marion was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who enjoyed garage sales, reading and sending and receiving funny emails. She had a great sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Buck Lincicome and Harold Winters and a sister, Virginia Peters. She is survived by four children, Frank Lincicome of Centralia, MO, Linda Russell and husband, James of Centralia, MO, Gene Winters of Independence and Gina Winters Harvey of Raytown. A brother Kenneth Arney and wife Alameda of Merriam, KS, four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.
