Mary Wisdom

Mary M. Wisdom, 81 of Independence, MO passed away, Monday, January 5, 2009 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 8, 2009 at the Providence Cemetery in Chilhowee, MO. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Coalition for Independence 4911 State Ave. Kansas City, KS 66102. Mary was born February 10, 1927 in Anadarko, OK to John and Cheeta (Sullivan) Hollenbeck. She was a loving wife mother and homemaker and a member of Mt. Washington United Methodist Church. She was married to Clarence Wisdom on May 26, 1951; he preceded her in death on July 21, 1987. Survivors include; 2 daughters, Loretta Hayes and her husband Gary and Wilma Weddington and her husband Tim all of Independence, MO; 4 grandchildren, Lori Lynch, Amanda Aviles, Mark McBee and Matthew McBee and 8 great grandchildren.
