Christopher Bryan Wolfrum, 30, Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2011 after a three year battle with Leukemia.
A Celebration of Chris’s Life will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, March 7, 2011 at the California Evangelical Cemetery, California, MO. Chris was born February 20, 1981 in Kansas City, MO the son of Rhonda Jean Davis and Dale Alan Wolfrum. He was a 2001 graduate of Lee’s Summit North High School. Chris had served with the Missouri National Guard. He was employed with Heartland Communications as a telephone technician. Chris enjoyed numerous outdoors activities, including swimming, riding bikes. He loved to play classic rock on his guitar and went to the Renaissance Festival every year.
Survivors include his mother, Rhonda Davis Fisher; father, Dale Wolfrum; sisters, Stephanie Sansone and Andrea Wolfrum; brothers, Josh Mahl and Nicholas Fisher; girlfriend, Vihn Phan; maternal grandparents, Eugene Austin and Charlene Rose Davis; paternal grandparents, Larry B. and Anna Mae Wolfrum; nieces and nephews, Alexis, Ava, and Jaxon Sansone and Joshua Christopher Mahl; aunt Becky Reener; uncle, Randy “Unc” Davis and additional family.
