William “Bill” Womack, 58, of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2011 in Carrollton, MO. Bill was born September 23, 1952 to Orville and Esther Womack and was a lifelong area resident. He graduated from Truman High School and married Jerilyn Bogue. After owning Four Seasons Bait Shop in Independence for many years, Bill was a dedicated employee to Burd and Fletcher for over 20 years. He enjoyed fishing and tending to his yard, but more than anything, Bill adored his family. He will be missed for his loving and dependable nature by all who knew and loved him. Bill is survived by his wife of 34 years, Jerilyn Womack; daughter Jennifer Walsh and husband Jason; son Jason Womack; four grandchildren: Dillon Wallace, Zackary Walsh, Peyton Valentine and Tori Valentine; mother Esther Sanders; mother-in-law Virginia Bogue; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be from 6-8:00 PM Sunday, January 9 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence. Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, January 10 at the Chapel. Burial to follow at Buckner Hill Cemetery
