Darren Wood

Darren Wood, 44, Sibley, MO, died unexpectedly on May 29, 2008. Services will be at 7 pm, Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at the Heart of God Fellowship Church in Sibley. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 5 pm. Darren was born April 4, 1964 in Nottinghamshire, England. He worked in the coalmines in England for twenty years where he rose to a supervisory position while earning many Environmentalist Awards. He came to the States six years ago and was currently employed at Avis Furniture Co. Darren is survived by his wife Kelly Wood, of the home; daughter Courtney Wood; son Daniel Wood, both of Nottinghamshire, England; step-daughters Jennifer Bopp, Raytown, MO; Tessa Norton; step-son Anthony Norton, both of the home; his parents Brian and Dorian Wood; sister Adele Smith; brother Adrian Wood; sister Michelle Miller, all of Nottinghamshire, England; and four grandchildren
