Frederick E. "Fred" Wooldridge

Fred E. Wooldridge, 83, of Oak Grove, MO passed away on July 25, 2015. Visitation will be from 10-11 am Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am. Burial will take place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Fred was born on November 5, 1931 in Hopkins, MO to Frederick and Zana (Hall) Wooldridge Sr. He was a graduate of Northeast High School. Fred was an entrepreneur, owning several businesses in the area including Fred Wooldridge Auto Sales and a Farmers Insurance Agency. Above all else Fred took great pride in his family, always the loving husband and father. He firmly believed in taking care of his own, whether friend or family. Fred was a hard worker, but in his spare time he enjoyed golf and fishing. Survivors include; wife of 44 years Virginia (Stevens) Wooldridge; daughters Cheryl Duresky, Cammie Conboy, Judy Verkler, Diane Gross, Debbie Long, Lisa Sapenaro, Christine Murtaugh, and Michelle Hawkins; son Frederick Wooldridge; brother John Wooldridge, sister Julia Elliott; 23 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Fred is preceded in death by his parents and a grandson Ronnie Edwards. Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice.
