Helen Wright

Helen Louise Wright, 91, of Gladstone, MO was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at North Kansas City Hospital. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at Carson Speaks Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. Burial in Mt. Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Metro Church, 4735 N. Brighton, Kansas City, MO 64117. Helen was born June 22, 1917 in Manes, MO to James Horace and Lillian Ruth (Hart) Frame. She was united in marriage to Christian A. Wright on July 21, 1937 in Colby, KS. Mrs. Wright is an alumnus of the University of Kansas and a charter member of the Metro Church. Helen was a founding teacher of the Wedding Ring Class at Fairmount Christian Church. Mrs. Wright is survived by her children Christine Holladay and husband Ron, Jon Wright and wife Robin; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers James Horace Frame, Jr., Allen Dean Frame, Roger Kent Frame, Michael William Frame; sister Sandra Jane Tucker; and by numerous friends who will all miss her. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Christian Wright in 1973; and by two sisters and three brothers.
