Rose Mae Wrigley, 99, of Independence, MO passed away December 10, 2013. A visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m., followed by a 1:00 p.m. service on Saturday, December 14, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Avenue, Independence, MO. Rose was born May 7, 1914 in Blue Springs, MO to Charles P. and Sarah Ann (Bradford) Fann. She retired from both Lake City Ammunitions Plant, as well as from William Chrisman, where she worked in food service. Rose was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed quilting and crocheting in her spare time. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Wrigley. She is survived by her two children, Kathryn Allega and Raymond Wrigley; five grandchildren, Gayle Titus, Julie Browning, Chris Allega, Aimee Traynor and Joy Wrigley; and 10 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
