Douglas Allen "Doug" Wurtz

Douglas Allen Wurtz, 46 of Pleasant Hill, MO went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 23, 2015 at the Pleasant Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center. Doug was preceded in death by his parents Irvin and Mary Wurtz. He is survived by; daughters Ashley Renea Williams, Tiffany Dawn Wurtz; son, Blake Alexander Wurtz; granddaughter, Arianna Lee Wurtz; son in law, Anthony Allen Williams; and his beloved dog Bentley. Doug was number 11 of 11 children, he loved to cook and garden. He was employed at Brothers Pets. Visitation will be from 10-11 am, Saturday, November 28, 2015, at Rose of Sharon Pentecostal Church, 9621 E 38th Terrace, KCMO 64133. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11am. Burial will take place in Mound Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grace Hospice.
