Mildred Evelyn Wyatt, 90, of Independence, MO, passed away, Sunday, February 20, 2005 at St. Luke�s Northland Hospital. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday at the chapel. Donations may be made to Fairmont Christian Church. Evelyn was born April 1, 1914 in Crocker, MO to Luther Thompson and Pearl Etta (Loague) Terrill. She was a lifelong area resident. She was a homemaker and she and her husband owned and operated Roy�s Caf� in Fairmont area for a number of years before she retired. She was a member of the Fairmont Christian Church, the Joy Bells hand bell choir and played the piano for the YMP class all at the church. She was also a member of Rockwood Country Club and the KC Women�s Golf Association. She enjoyed gardening, music and was an accomplished seamstress who enjoyed handwork. Evelyn was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother with a wonderful sense of humor. She was married to Leroy M. Wyatt on May 7, 1935; he passed away on November 2, 1983. Survivors include; 3 daughters, Nancy Gauert of Oak Grove, MO, Judy Kay Curnutt and her husband Keith of Independence, MO and Billie Ann Yeatman of Gladstone, MO; 8 grandchildren, Vickie Dent, Kaye Page, Kimberly Reinbold, Terri Arbeau, Melissa Baker, Michael Curnutt, Larry Yeatman and John Yeatman and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Glenn Wyatt in 1936, a son in law, Jack Yeatman in 2002 and a brother, Luther Glenn Terrill in 1999.
