Nadine F. Wyckoff, longtime resident of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away on August 24, 2015 to be with her Lord and Savior. A visitation will be held at 1:00 pm. on August 26 at Speaks Suburban Chapel on 39th Street in Independence, MO, with a celebration of life service to begin at 2:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Floral Hills East Cemetery in Lee’s Summit. The family suggests contributions to the local Alzheimer’s Association in lieu of flowers. She was born on March 17, 1925 in Pleasant Hill, MO, daughter of Edward and Flora Feldman. She married Bruce Wyckoff in 1944 and he preceded her in death in 1986. They were both very active and charter members at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Lee’s Summit for many years. Nadine taught Sunday school while a faithful member of Mt. Zion. Her loving personality brought joy to all who knew her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Survivors include two sons, Doug Wyckoff (Tammy) of Lee’s Summit and Mike Wyckoff (Joy) of Independence, MO. In addition, grandsons Shane Wyckoff and Shawn Wyckoff of Lee’s Summit, Kyle Wyckoff (Melissa) of Laurel Hill, NC and Kurt Wyckoff of Lee’s Summit, MO, and four great-grandchildren, Landon and Micah Wyckoff of Laurel Hill, NC and Max and Allie Wyckoff of Lee’s Summit. Other survivors include her sisters, Mary Ann Forsythe of Lee’s Summit and Flora Ann Risner of Kansas City. Many thanks to the staff at the Wilshire Nursing Facility where Nadine resided the last eight years of her life.
